BETHEL
AFRICAN METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH
Empowerment Prayer Ministry
“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful…” (Colossians 4:2 NIV)
“… for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” (Isaiah 56:7)
Prayer is the heartbeat of the Christian life. This ministry is committed to praying for the needs of the church and the community. Our mission is: To edify and cover Bethel A.M.E. Church, its miniseries, families, youth, the Pastor and First Family, Clergy team, community, nation, and the world through prayer. We are committed to encourage, foster, and inspire the members, and Church ministries to pursue a deeper and more personal prayer life. Our purpose is to be available to individuals and our community as a prayer partner. Our hope is that as our dependence on God grows, our church’s foundation in Christ will be perpetually stronger.
The Prayer Partner Ministry (church members are partnered with a prayer partner) and Women to Women Bible Encounter (women of the church meet monthly and pray Scripture) is a vital part of the Empowerment Prayer Ministry. Also, Empowerment Prayer Ministry has a yearly Prayer Revival and Prayer Conference.
